AFUK Swedish undercover
November 30, 2008
One of the good things about running a shop every day is that I don’t get off until most other shops are closed and I can’t spend my hard earned money anywhere. But there is one place in Copenhagen I really would like to visit more often, it’s the shop owned and runned by AFUK’s produktionsskole on Vesterbro called “AFUK Swedish Undercover“
The shop is not that ekspensive because the concept is non profitable and aims to educate yong creative spirits in the challenges that comes with running a buisness.
They sell vintage furnitures and retro stuff that the students repair and restorate themselves. Fantastic concept and one of the most shop-worthy places to go in Copenhagen, if you ask me.

Any good ideas on how to decorate the shop windows for christmas? I’ve did a big-red-bow theme for the last cuple of years and I think it’s about time to do something new.

This weekend I got something done that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I cleaned up my closet and hung my collection of hats on the wall. I love that when I do silly stuff like this Anders doesn’t mind. In fact when he saw the whole hat-display yesterday he just said: Wow honey that looks real pretty, you’re so smart!

Designer Christmas
November 20, 2008
If you live in Copenhagen you should go visit Bryggen (The area where my shop is) on Saturday and feel some Christmas cheer. Four designer shops are celebrating the holiday by serving snacks and drinks and extending opening hours from 10-17.00. Obviously “Brinja” is one of them. The others are Workshop Copenhagen a shop owned by twenty five different designers, Formverk who makes beautiful ceramics and jewellery and Midtfor a shop and workshop owned by three design students. The text is from todays newspaper Urban.

Close to where I live we have a puplic park called Frederiksberg have. In the park there is a tree you can decorate with your old dummys when you outgrow them.

Seven random facts about me:
1.
My grandpa was from Iceland, his name was Ragnar and if you ask my grandma he was just as handsom as my brother Niller. (Or is it the other way around?)

I’m terribly afraid of scary movies and dogs. But I love fairytales and adventure books (especially by Astrid Lindgren).
3.
As a kid I had short hair like a boy (my parents thought it was more practical that way) and I remember people misheard my name as Bryan. In a period of time I accually tought that I was gonna ba a boy when I got old enough.
4.
I always feel like going for a walk when it starts raining, I love it.
5.
I went to four different elementary schools and I newer felt like I belonged in any af them. Now I love the fact that now I am my own boss.
6.
When I get an idea that I think is really good I get butterflies in my stomach.
7.
Sometimes I dont know what to write on this blog because I’m afraid it gets a bit to personal. People around me dosen’t always understand why I do it and that kind of makes me doubt how to do it.
Only few of my friends blog and I haven’t been here long enough to personaly know seven other bloggers. So only a few tags from me…

The best of winter
November 1, 2008
I decided to make the very best of this winter. I’m afraid I get easily affected by the lack of sunlight. So my plan is first of all to get as much light as possible when possible, to buy myself pretty flowers, eat lots of good meals, put candles in the window and have alot of fun with family and friends. This winter is going to be great!
