Anders and I went for a long walk today. Most of these pictures are from an area in Copenhagen called “Christianshavn”.

The party yesterday was great, but unfortunately I never got a picture of my dress, sorry…

What I wore this week

This was how I looked this week. -I might  even add Weekend clothes to the blog tomorrow, because I’m going to a wedding party tonight, and I’m planning to wear a fabulos new dress I made myself…

Friday in my shop

So I planned to take pictures of the floor in my shop today, but how boring is that? Instead I took some random pictures of how things look at the moment…

Hope you all had a nice day.  Happy Pentecost for those who celebrate it…  (-What a crazy word; Pentecost. -Apparently it is an ancient Greek word that means; the fiftieth day after Easter Sunday!… -In Danish we just call it “Pinse”)

-And here in Denmark this Monday is a holiday so the shop is closed and I’m free as a bird, yay!

French toast and coffee

This is not my everyday breakfast, but sometimes Anders makes me some french toasts in the weekends…

I have been cleaning up today, because I’m having the floors of the shop done over the Weekend and by Saturday afternoon I need to have everything removed from the shop, to my very very small stock-room/kitchen in the back.

Right now I can’t really imagine how I’ll manage to make everything fit in there, but I hope it will work out okay in the end…

Tomorrow I’m gonna do some “before pictures” of the floor and hopefully I’ll do the “after pictures” on Tuesday next week.

Oh, by the way Lina gave me this award yesterday and it is my very first time to recive an award -so I must admit I’m pretty damn proud! Thank you Lina.

Vintage toy…

This toy is old; I’m not sure how old but I remember it being old when I was a child -so now it must be… older! My dad gave it to me yesterday.

He is so cool this bartender, he can roll his eyes, get red in his face and shake cocktails at the same time! That is if you treat him with the right (and very old fashioned) batteries. Unfortunately  I haven’t got any…

This little guy has now got  a very fancy place on my bookshelf.

Cinderella…

I feel like cinderella sometimes; having no time to finish her dress…

There are so many things I would love to spend more time doing and so many people that I don’t see often enough. I know I can’t do it all, and I am already lucky enough to have a job and an everyday-life that I have chosen myself, but right now I just feel like I’m constantly chasing time…

Hairbands

I try to remember to take pictures of  the things I make because I seem to forget them pretty quick when they are sold. These are hairbands I made a while ago.

Thank you so much for all your well wishes -I’m all better today… Still very tired though -so I’ll be back tomorrow with more energy.

Wednesday at home

I’m back from my little Prague adventure and it has been a blast. -Now I feel like traveling even more…  I’m dreaming of Berlin, I want to go there by train. I love to travel by train!  And I love Berlin in the Spring… -actually I love Berlin all year round -but Spring makes me wanna go there even more.

I was knocked out by a fever last night, so today I’m in bed feeling not so good. -When you run a self-contained business, being sick is very unfortunate -so today I’m feeling very blessed by having a fantastic friend and helper to jump in and take care of the shop for me…

By the way; did any of you people living in Copenhagen hear the thunder last night?… Wow, It was spectacular!

What I wore this week…

So Friday is, up and I am all packed up and ready to go to Prague with my friends…

I’m bringing “My” but I’m not sure about internet -so I might be posting while I’m gone, might not.

One more reason to visit Bryggen…

These pictures are from a café at Bryggen (the area where my shop is) called “Nose Wise” -which, if you translate directly from the Danish word “næsvis”, means something like cheeky…  Did this make any sense at all?

Well, it’s a word play!

Anyway -the point is that they make excellent coffee and very yummy sandwiches. You can go here and read more! (in Danish -sorry)

Waiting for Friday…

I really feel like days are way to short at the moment, so many things I want to do and so little time to do it.

I can’t wait for Friday though; Friday is no doubt the most exciting day of this week.  I am going to Prague on Friday -with the best of friends -YAY!  Niller found these cheep flight tickets a long time ago and decided to buy his friends a little vacation, -how cool is that? I have got the greatest brother in the world…

Now; sofa time! I’m gonna spend the rest of my Wednesday right here on this couch, next to this guy…

Two days away from blogging feels like forever… How are you all -did you have a good weekend?

I’m in such a good mood today, the sky is blue and the world is beautiful…

Normally Tuesday is the crappiest day of the week -but not this Tuesday:

I had morning coffee and sun in the excellent company of my brother…

In the shop I got a lot of organizing and cleaning done…

Anders came after school…  Pretty handsome, huh!

And before closing hour -afternoon sun in the company of friends…

These are the hands of a guy I know named Mads; he lives next door to my shop. -Sometimes he comes by to tell funny stories. -Mads is a teenager!

Brinja København -The movie

Two girls from this school came by my shop today and made a short movie about “Brinja København”. Their task was to make video-guides that shows their favorite place in Copenhagen. -What a compliment:-)

When they are done editing, I will post it here on the blog for you to see!

Morning coffee

I love to go out for coffee in the morning.  It is a great way for me to realax and get a good start to the day…

Today is just as grey and rainy as yesterday. -I like it!
