Anders and I went for a long walk today. Most of these pictures are from an area in Copenhagen called “Christianshavn”.

The party yesterday was great, but unfortunately I never got a picture of my dress, sorry…

This was how I looked this week. -I might  even add Weekend clothes to the blog tomorrow, because I’m going to a wedding party tonight, and I’m planning to wear a fabulos new dress I made myself…

Lazy Sunday mood…

I’m  in my lazy Sunday mood today. I have been watching cartoons and eating toasts all morning and I’m planning to do so for the rest of the day.

Anders rented me this movie.  He’s always in charge of picking out dvd’s because he usually knows my taste in movies better than I do.

She writes perfect and brave words about vulnerability, sorrow and beauty.

Today I went for a bike ride through a part of Copenhagen that I really like. My mission was to buy flowers/plants for the front of the shop. Here are some pictures from my little adventure…

What I did today

I have now organized a small part of my gigantic collection of buttens. The ideá is to sort them in colors  and put them into old jars.

Most of these very old buttens used to belong to my grandmother, I inherited them when she past away some years ago.

I put them to use nearly every day now, if only she knew :) …

I recently discovered these faboulus drawings by Sam over at “matou en peluche” and I fell for them instantly. I love the art deco style and the fact that all the lovley ladies  have names like; Fay, Virginia and Silvia.

Does your computer have a name?

When a new member of the family arrives it is important to find it a name!

My sister has a computer named “Obama” (He arrived the same day Obama was elected) ,  My  friend Lea has a mac called Mc. Allan (something about a guy selling sausages in Jutland and got sued by MacDonalds), our old computer is called “Zuma” (he was once very quick, and so was a football player with the same name), my brother Niller has one called “Lille zuma” Lille=Tiny (because he’s tiny and quick like “Zuma”), Anders’s is called “Klods Hans” Klods=clumsy (he is alot clumsier than “Zuma”)

Obviously I can’t name my new one before she arrives.

Living

My home and I was in a Danish news paper “Jyllands Posten” last Sunday.  The  article is by Pernille Glavind and if I must say so it’s a pretty good one.  Actually I think  Mette was the first one to see it,  I was in Stockholm until Wednesday so I saw it on “Ungt Blod” before I saw it myself.

I didn’t expect the article to be as long as it was and I would never had thought that so many pictures would be chosen.  The experience was very fun and flattering.

Close to where I live we have a puplic park called Frederiksberg have. In the park there is a tree you can decorate with your old dummys when you outgrow them.

The best of winter

I decided to make the very best of this winter. I’m afraid I get easily affected by the lack of sunlight. So my plan is first of all to get as much light as possible when possible, to buy myself pretty flowers, eat lots of good meals, put candles in the window and have alot of fun with family and friends. This winter is going to be great!

Back to nature experience

On a walk in a forest (in Germany) we (Anders, Niller, Lea and I) filled up our pockets with beautiful fresh chestnuts.

There are something very exiting about collecting food in nature and bringing it home.
