What I did today

February 19, 2009

I have now organized a small part of my gigantic collection of buttens. The ideá is to sort them in colors  and put them into old jars.

Most of these very old buttens used to belong to my grandmother, I inherited them when she past away some years ago.

I put them to use nearly every day now, if only she knew :) …

Things I found along the way…

Sorting buttons by colour sounds like one of those fun organising jobs… and I like what you found along the way… happy sorting.

I love the expression ‘to be cute as a button’.
And I would have loved to join you in the sorting process. I like those kinda things.

There is something mystique about that key.
I wonder what it unlocks? Maybe your grandmothers secret diary?

What a great idea to sort them in colours. Please, show us the result once they are in the jars. :)
Your pics brought back memories to me about a can of buttons that my mum had which I used to play with as a child. I haven’t thought of that can for ages, but now I suddenly remember the feeling of exactly organising all the buttons. I remember a little rose one being my favourite. :)

Sussi: I have alot more buttens to sort and you are very welcome to help me out…

Morten: SO mysterious! I love the key… Maby it opens some kind of secret hiding place of even more mysterious and exiting objects.
