Latest edition to my miniature world… The little guy is made from dried out flowers and standing on the button of a plastic/paper birthday flag, to keep him balanced.

How to: miniature feather

September 18, 2012

You never know when you might need one?

Take any feather and cut of the excess. Then shape it up the way you want it with a scissor.

Ps: the tiny hat is made from leftover fabric and lace + a really good glue-gun. The ‘hat-foot’ ?  is made from 2 different sized buttons glued together and a screw upside down, +black paint.  On top of the screw is a round bead to shape the hat from the inside.

It’s all good

September 3, 2012

Our home-workshop is coming together really well. So well, that I can rarely remember how things were before…  Still have some storage boxes to empty and a few other details to fix. But altogether; things in the new workshop is gooood!

What I really should be doing is paperwork. Instead I’ve spend the last few hours painting dried out flowers into tiny people…

Miniature perfume shop

August 2, 2012

Creating the tiny hatshop made me fell so good. I love how I can empty my head while focusing only on something like this. PURE meditation!

This tiny perfume shop is new…

Bits and pieces

July 8, 2012

This type case was at sale in the shop until it accidentally fell down and broke. Now it has a new home, my workshop!

I’ll be at the shop from 12.00 today, if anyone feels like Sunday-sale-shopping.

This is a few bits and pieces from my latest miniature project… A shoebox, a cardboard/fabric/metal-coin lady and bird made of a paper ball and glue.

Miniature home

July 1, 2012

My miniature home has been ‘standing still’ for quite a while. Things have really changed around our home -you know… Vilja came around and changed a lot and then my workshop moved in too… The miniature home has been on a shelf for a long time now. But today I took it out and showed it to Vilja. She LOVED it :) and I’m glad she did. I’ve made something new ‘mini’ today. Look forward to show it to you soon.

Simple DIY

June 16, 2012

Just a quick and simple DIY for you.

Materials: Fabric tape, masking tape (or even ribbon and glue), scissors and an old jar.

Note: the tape and jar is available in my shop.

Home workplace

May 12, 2012

Anders and I have been thinking and talking a whole lot about how to arrange our worklife/homelife lately… We have had to give up the workshop because of  water damage problems… all my materials and our office have been wrapped up in boxes for what feels like eternity now.

Not being able to find the perfect new place, we decided to move the workplace into our home.

Today

May 9, 2012

Busy busy days….  Spring days are long and busy days in the shop. And at home we are in the middle of quite a big makeover….

I am lacking behind when it comes to mails, comments and blog posts… Hope you can have a bit patience with me.

Guess what?

February 14, 2012

Two of my very favourite people in the whole world is having a baby!!!

Granny O has been knitting tinysize clothes again. And Lea and I have been eating cakes, talking about babies and sewn buttons in the tiny clothes.

My troubled-winter-thoughts doesn’t seem important at all, when I think of this little person waiting to come out and how lucky I am to be part of  something so huge and so wonderful.

Love birds

I’ve decorated candlelight holders today. Birds, flowers, ribbons, butterflies and feathers… very girlish!  more pictures (with better lighting) tomorrow.

Sleep tight folks!
